Trust Account
What is a Trust Account?
A Trust Account is a bank account that
is identified as holding the funds of a third party, in this case YOU, our
clients. The Trust Account acts as a conduit to hold funds on behalf of all
parties until the services are provided. The Trust Account is completely
separate to the trading account, whereby the Trust funds are outside the assets
of the company in the event of a default. An independent Trustee is assigned to
the Trust Account and only the Trustee can authorise the release of the funds
from the Trust Account.
Who is the Trustee?
Finn-Kelcey & Chapman are a
widely respected firm of Chartered Accountants, which consists of some
seventy Partners and staff in their Ashford office. Well established,
they have been around for over 80 years and are well known for giving
a high level of service and expertise to their clients.
How does the Trust Account protect you, the client?
All monies received from a client shall be paid into the Trust Account
and held by the Trustee subject to the completion of the holiday.
These funds are held for you, the client, and in accordance with
the Trust Deed cannot be released until the Trustee is satisfied
that the holiday has been completed. In the event of the Travel
Company ceasing to trade for any reason whatsoever the Trustee shall
repay to Consumers all monies held on their behalf in the Trust
Account in respect of holidays which as a result are cancelled or
which have not been fully performed.

The Trustee will be pleased to answer any additional questions you
